Chemeketa Scholars

For the 2008-09 school year, the Chemeketa Scholars program has generated applications from 285 high school seniors who want to attend Chemeketa this fall and take advantage of our free tuition offer. These are high-achieving students with high school GPAs of 3.5 or better.

Are you graduating from high school this academic year? Do you
currently have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better (as of
7th semester grades)? Are you attending a high school in the
Chemeketa service district
or do currently live in our district?

35 active clubsThere are more than 35 active clubs and student organizations at Chemeketa.

International studentsChemeketa is a temporary home to international students from every continent except Antarctica.

64,000 people enrolled in 06-07More than 64,200 people enrolled in a Chemeketa class during the 2006-07 academic year.

Financial Aid recieves 11,300 applicationsThe Chemeketa financial aid office received more than 11,300 applications that same year.

$160,000 in scholarships from the foundationNearly $1,000,000 in scholarships were awarded during the 2006-7 academic year and included money for college-related expenses such as child care.

  1. Apply for admission to Chemeketa.
  2. Complete a Chemeketa Scholars application.
    Applications for 08-09 are no longer being accepted.
  3. Obtain your most recent unofficial high school transcript.
  4. Submit application and transcript to:
