Job Placement for Students

Job Placement provides comprehensive career resources for you as a student or alumni at all stages of your academic and professional career. Our services include locating the right job, and learning new job search techniques—resume writing, interviewing or how to find the hidden jobs.

We know employers who want to know you!
At Job Placement, we work directly with employers who often express great interest in hiring Chemeketa students. Check out the job opportunities posted through Job Placement.

We help students master the job interview!
There is no better way to prepare for the job interview than by experiencing an "actual" interview. At Job Placement we will conduct mock interviews with you and will provide constructive critique of your performance and effective interview strategies.

Thinking of using yesterday's resume for today's jobs?
Think again! You only have about 30 seconds to convince a potential employer that you deserve an interview. We will help you create a quality resume and cover letter to acquire the award-winning interview.

Register with us by filling out the Job Placement Student Registration form. Your first visit will include a brief consultation called the "411 Session" which usually takes 30 minutes.

How can we help you?
For more information regarding employment services, please contact Job Placement by telephone 503.399.5026, fax 503.399.7483 or e-mail at jobplacement@chemeketa.edu. Visit us on the main floor in Bldg. 2, Rm. 115.
