Graduates Getting started at Chemeketa before transferring to another college or university makes a lot of sense. You can take care of your initial general education requirements and then easily transfer to another college or university.

The Transfer Center tells you what you need to take at Chemeketa and how to transfer those credits. It will also help you explore other colleges and universities, find out about financial aid, scholarships and other assistance.

If you make the commitment to come to class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we’ll make a commitment to provide the classes you need to complete your first year of college.

Enroll in two classes per term
Attend class two evenings at the Salem Campus
Hours vary from 6:30–9:30 p.m. or 5–10 p.m.
Earn your first year of college in seven terms
Receive 3 credits free at the end of seven terms
