Graduation Services
The Graduation Services office is located in Building 2, Room 200, on the Salem campus. Open window hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. throughout the year except during official college holidays. The office provides the following services:
Evaluation of coursework completed for certificates and degrees.
Applications for graduation should be submitted to this office by the fourth week of the term before the term in which you expect graduate. If you apply by this date, you can expect to hear about the courses you still need to complete within six weeks. We suggest you work with your advisor to fulfill these requirements. Deviations from the published course requirements must be approved by the appropriate academic department. If you do not complete your requirements by the term you state on your graduation application, you will need to reapply and select a new term of completion.Issuance of diplomas and certificates.
Once you complete the requirements for your program, you will be issued the appropriate diploma or certificate and a notation will be made on your permanent record (transcript) about eight weeks after you complete the last of your requirements. Because of the high volume, diplomas and certificates for students who graduate spring term may take about 10 to 12 weeks to be processed.
