The printed commencement program will identify all of the certificates and/or degrees that you have earned (or for which you have applied) for the current academic year.

The marching order is done alphabetically by department and then by program within the department.

The ceremony will last about 2 hours. You must stay and remain seated with the rest of the graduates for the entire duration of the ceremony.

Guests

Each graduate will be given 6 tickets when they pick up their caps and gowns. Tickets are required for admittance into The Pavilion.

Seats for guests cannot be reserved. However, if a guest needs a disability-related accommodation, please contact Graduation Services at least two weeks prior to commencement so that the appropriate arrangements can be made. Special tickets are required for these accommodations.

Degrees and certificates for Spring term graduates will be mailed around August 15, 2010 to the address that is on file with the Registrar's office. If there is a hold on your account, you will not receive your degree or certificate until the hold is cleared. You must notify Chemeketa if you move or change your mailing address prior to receiving your degree or certificate.

If you need proof that you have completed your degree or certificate requirements, you will want to order an official transcript through your My Chemeketa account. Make sure to indicate that you want the transcript to be held for posting of degree. This way, we can make sure that your degree has been posted prior to your transcript being printed.
