Processing time
Initial application and certifications 60 to 90 days. Continuing applications- 30 to 45 days

Chapter 1607 is a Department of Defense education benefit for members of the reserve component called or ordered to active duty, for a minimum of 90 days, in response to a war or national emergency as declared by the President or Congress. Eligibility is solely determined by the Department of Defense or the Department of Homeland Security. A DD-214 is needed with your application to demonstrate the active duty time.
