New, First Time in College

Applying for college doesn't have to be a chore. Follow the steps below and you'll be on your way to success in no time. We also encourage you to tour the campus with one of our Student Ambassadors.

How to Enroll

Apply for financial aid. Although applying for aid is not required for enrollment, we strongly encourage you to do so. The process can take up to 12 weeks, so be sure to apply as soon as possible.

Allow three working days for processing.
Apply online.

Take a Placement Test
Required if you are taking credit classes. You can test at most of our campus locations. You must have your "K" number (student ID number) and picture ID.

Orientation is offered online.

Attend an Academic Session
Meet with a Chemeketa staff member to plan your first term classes.

Register for Classes
Follow the directions received in orientation and note registration dates and deadlines.

Arrange for Payment
Pay tuition and fees within 10 days of registration, unless you are receiving financial aid.
