New Student Orientation

Chemeketa offers orientation for new students and their families. If you have never attended college or are new to Chemeketa, you will need to participate in new student orientation. We also encourage your family to participate in our online family orientation.

Student Orientation Process

Attend New Student Orientation

• Learn about campus resources, My Chemeketa and other useful services to help you be a successful college student
• Orientation sessions begin August 12 and continue throughout the summer
  Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 a.m.
  Tuesday, Thursday: 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday August 16 and September 6: 10 a.m. - noon

Family Orientation

FamilyConnect
College represents an important milestone for both students and their families. If you are a parent, spouse or partner of a new Chemeketa student, this online orientation can answer many of the questions you have about what your student will be experiencing and how you can support them in their academic development.
