How to Register on the Web

You need to meet the criteria for continuing or admitted student before registering. If you are not a continuing or admitted student, you will need to submit an Admission Application before attempting to use the registration system.

What you’ll need:

Logging In

  1. Go to My Chemeketa (this link opens a new browser window so you can refer back to these instructions).
  2. Enter your User Name and Password in the "Secured Access Login" box.
  3. If you experience problems logging in, contact Chemeketa's Information Technology Help Desk at 503.399.7899 (open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Selecting Your Classes

  1. From the My Chemeketa home page, click on the School Services tab.
  2. Click on the Add or Drop Classes link under the Student Services & Financial Aid menu.
  3. Choose the appropriate term form the pop-up list and then click on the Submit button.
  4. In the Add Classes Worksheet, enter the CRNs (Course Reference Numbers) that correspond to the courses you would like to take; you can enter all of your CRNs before submitting your registration
    Note: Some courses have a lecture/lab or lecture/lab/recitation combination. For these associated course combinations, you must enter a CRN for all related sections.
  5. Once you have entered all your CRNs, click on Submit Changes .

Paying Online via Credit or Debit Card

  1. To pay by credit or debit card, click Make Credit Card Payments under the Student Services & Financial Aid menu (under the School Services tab).
  2. Enter your card information as requested. Chemeketa uses a secure connection for all online credit card transactions, so your personal information is safe!
  3. Click on Submit Payment . The system will notify you when your credit card has been accepted and payment has been applied to your account.

Be aware that you must pay or make payment arrangements within ten days of registration or a late fee of $25 will be assessed.

Viewing Your Schedule

  1. Under the School Services tab, click the Schedules link under the Student Services & Financial Aid menu.
  2. You may need to select the term for which you wish to view your schedule (if you haven't already done so during this session in My Chemeketa).
  3. Your class schedule should be displayed.
