Opportunity Center
Chemeketa Community College’s Opportunity Center for Teaching and Learning provides
and expands opportunities for faculty to develop their teaching skills,
and, in so doing, helps Chemeketa students to succeed. The overwhelming
success of the Center speaks to the hard work and dedication of those
who have served the Center.
The Opportunity Center helps maintain Chemeketa’s focus on teaching
and learrning by providing the programs, services and resources described
within.
At Chemeketa Community College, our beliefs about teaching and learning
are captured in our Teaching and Learning Values.
These Values are a shared responsibility at the college and are considered
in decision and policy-making arenas. We encourage and promote these
values in college programs, courses and activities.
