Service Animals
Staff can ask a person with an animal three questions:
- Is this a service animal (companion, support and comfort animals are not covered under the ADA)
- Has this animal been individually trained?
- What service or tasks does this animal provide (not referring to type of disability)?
If the customer refuses to answer, the staff can ask them to remove the animal from the premises.
