NorthWest Seniors and People with Disabilities services
Provides information and referral services, senior-to-senior peer counseling, home-delivered meals, assistance with medical coverage while employed or unemployed, personal assistance in the home or other locations, and prescription assistance. Oregon Prescription Drug Program (OPDP)
The OPDP can provide money-saving discounts on many regular prescriptions and up to 60 percent off generic prescriptions. All that's needed to enroll is the patient's name, gender and address. It will even cover prescriptions for seniors after their yearly Medicare benefits run out. Visit the above website to download an application or call (800) 913-4146 to apply by phone.
