Home For Good

A transitional program created by the Department of Corrections, Community agencies and religious organization partners to help people re-enter their community after incarceration.

The Center For Family Success at 1430 Fifth Street provides classes on parenting, housing resources, drug treatment programs and more for those recently released from prison.

Provides resources for people in need. Let them know what you need and see what they have to offer.

Department of Human Services

This link provides contact information for local DHS offices. Ask about services for mental health issues, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, the Food Stamps Program, Women with Infant Children and health care assistance. It also houses services for seniors and people with disabilities.

Housing Authority

Ask about Housing Assistance programs to help with rent. The only restrictions are for those with drug convictions or sex offenses. Contact them for specifics.
