Policy and Procedure Guidelines
- Provide a headphone extension, external speaker with a headphone jack or something that will allow the headphones to be plugged in on the desktop and not below the table.
- Create borrowing system for adaptation kit items such as holding driver's license, car keys or something of value until item is returned (especially for the reading pens).
- Make sure that large screen monitors are positioned for privacy without allowing customers to access inappropriate sites.
- Provide a sign in sheet for computer use time in order to monitor who will need to get off first.
- Provide copy of instructions for Quick-Pen Elite, assistive listening devices and other adaptive equipment in the adaptation kit box (originals stored).
