Chemeketa Cellars, the college’s student-made wine brand, earned two medals in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition (SFCWC). Chemeketa Cellars won a Silver Medal for the 2013 Pinot Noir and a Bronze Medal to the 2016 Pinot Blanc.
The SFCWC competition, now in its 18th year, is the largest competition of American wines in the world. The 2018 competition received 6,960 entries from 35 states. Sixty-seven judges evaluated wines for three days. This the first time the Chemeketa Wine Studies program has participated in a competition.
In celebration of this prestigious accolade, the Wine Studies program is releasing for sale a limited quantity of mixed cases of the award winning wines. The cases can be purchased as full or half cases at a special price for limited time.
