Yamhill Valley Campus

Chemeketa's full campus in McMinnville serves all of Yamhill County.

Chemeketa Yamhill Valley provides a fully-accredited community college in the heart of Yamhill County. We began serving the Yamhill Valley in 1974, moving into a state-of-the-art facility in 2011.

As a full campus, you can do all the work you need for a degree or certificate at Yamhill Valley. We also provided numerous services to make your college life better –

    • Find information on community organizations
    • Learn about upcoming events, study skills tips, community resources, opportunities to volunteer and more

    New members of Phi Theta Kappa will take the oath of membership and be individually recognized and welcomed at the Induction Ceremony. family and friends are welcome to attend. Come and celebrate along with our new student members. Refreshments are provided. YVC Building 1, room 101. 

    Studying and Working Abroad workshop -

    Tuesday, May 8, 2018. 2:30-3:30pm

    Studying abroad can help further your professional, academic and personal goals by giving you amazing opportunities to develop valuable skills that help you stand out in the world. Blanca will talk about the opportunities at Chemeketa, and Kelsey will speak about her experiences paying off her school loans as an English teacher in South Korea, Japan, Czech Republic and Spain.  YVC Building 1, room 101. 

    Substance Abuse Workshop: Use vs. Abuse -

    Monday, May 14, 2018. 2:30-3:30pm

    Drug and Alcohols use can have an impact on students' lives. The frequency, amount, dependence and social attitudes around use are some factors that delineate the difference between use and abuse. Learn about factors that help to determine when you or someone you know may need support. This workshop will be presented by Counselor Esebio. YVC Building 1, room 101. 

    Family Movie Night: Coco -

    Wednesday, May 16, 2018. 5-7pm

    The story follows a boy who dreams of becoming a great musician and embarks on a journey to uncover the mysteries behind his ancestors' stories and traditions. Bring your family and friends. Refreshments will be provided. YVC Building 1, room 105.

    Mulitcultural Celebration -

    Thursday, May 24, 2018. 11am-2pm

    Yamhill Valley Campus is proud to sponsor the second annual multicultural celebration. The celebration features live performers, international food, and arts & crafts. To volunteer for this event, contact Kelsey Anderson
