Oregon Transfer Module (OTM)

Earn the first credential on your way to a transfer or bachelor's degree.

Oregon Transfer Module

The OTM assures you are taking the best first step towards your education goals. Successful completion of the requirements will result in you being ready for your sophomore year at a college or university.

To earn the OTM you will need to complete 45 instructional credits. This usually takes three terms of classes. You'll need to earn a 'C' grade or better in all your classes and have a minimum GPA of 2.00.

Your coursework must come from an approved list of classes in the following subjects -

  • Writing (two classes)
  • Oral Communication (One course in the fundamentals of speech or communication)
  • Mathematics (One course of college-level mathematics)
  • Arts and Letters (Three courses)
  • Science/Math/Computer Science (Three courses including at least one biology or physical science class with a lab
  • Social Sciences (Three classes)
