Pursuant to Oregon Revised Statute 279A.220 (Interstate Cooperative Procurements) and ORS 279A.215 (Permissive Cooperative Procurements), this Public Notice is for the purpose of taking comments on the college’s intent to enter into a price agreement with Tarkett Sports Construction Northwest, Inc. through the Oregon Inter-Mountain EDS (IMESD) cooperative purchasing agency, a member of The Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA) program, AEPA IFB #024. The College has determined that the use of this contract will result in substantial administrative efficiencies and cost savings.

The term of the aforementioned agreement is effective through February 28, 2027, unless otherwise amended. The College estimates the cumulative total of the procurement(s) to be approximately $3,000,000.
Vendors, who would otherwise be prospective bidders, must submit comments, if any, within seven days from the date of this publication. Comments must be submitted in writing, addressed to the attention of Procurement Services, and be received by the college’s Procurement Services office, via e-mail to Procurement@chemeketa.edu no later than 5:00 PM PST on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Email submissions must include 'Comments on Intent to Establish Contract –AEPA IFB #024' in the subject line. Paper, hand-delivered, or faxed submissions will not be accepted.
The college shall respond to any vendor having submitted comments by the deadline, June 24, 2026, 5:00 PM, and shall make a written determination whether the interstate cooperative procurement described herein is in the best interest of the college. Comments received later than seven days from the date of this publication will not be considered.
