MWEC Grant Opportunities

Learn how we can support your vision.

MWEC Project Grants

Since 2011, MWEC has seen people come together and develop new and creative ideas to better serve the CTE students in our region. These project grants are an opportunity to innovate, and collaborate across programs, schools, and districts within our region.

We encourage you to get inspired, be creative, and work in partnership with your CTE colleagues to prepare for the project application process every Spring.

CTE Revitalization Grant

The CTE Revitalization Grant has allowed schools to partner together to bring more CTE options to students by sharing resources, teachers, and curriculum. The grants are used to enhance collaboration between education providers and employers to revitalize new or existing CTE programs of study.

This project is based on four different project-based learning curricula that will take the CTE programs at the partner schools to the next level in preparing students for their future education and career endeavors. Each of these curricula, combined with local efforts to align and articulate programs with post-secondary partners, student support services specific to the needs of the individual school and students, and targeted professional development for regional teachers, form a solid CTE program of study.

Career Pathway Grant

The Career Pathway Grant funds activities related to career and technical education programs of study that are pathways to high wage/high demand jobs.
