Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree

Continue your growth and development in your nursing career by pursuing your BSN degree at Chemeketa.

The Bachelor of Science: Nursing Community College Collaborative (BSNCCC) is a unique pathway that allows students to complete their BSN degree through a community college consortium partnership. The colleges within this consortium are:

  • Chemeketa Community Colllege
  • Linn-Benton Community College
  • Oregon Coast Community College
  • Central Oregon Community College
  • Treasure Valley Community College
  • Klamath Community College

This program increases access to the BSN for rural and place-bound students by blending online coursework with local academic support.

  • Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the BSNCCC, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Associate of Science (AS) in Nursing by
      Fall 2026.
    • Hold an unencumbered RN license by the end of the first BSNCCC term (Fall 2026).
  • Selection Process

Admission into the BSNCCC is lottery-based, with priority given to in-district residents.

    Step 1: Lottery Grouping

    • In-District Applicants (Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties) are placed in the first lottery group and
      receive priority consideration.
    • Out-of-District Applicants are placed in a secondary lottery pool and will only be considered if seats
      remain unfilled by in-district applicants.

    Step 2: Seat Offers

    • Seven (7) seats will be offered from each college in the consortium for a cohort of 42
    • If fewer than seven in-district applicants apply or accept, remaining seats will be filled from the
out-of-district pool using the same lottery process.
